There are certain symptoms of mental health that should not be ignored, because if you wait too long you will have bigger problem. These are some of the symptoms which may be a sign of a mental disorder:

 

Too much sleep

Sleep is important for regulating your emotions. But if you sleep too much, you will feel that you do not have enough time in the day to perform all your duties, because you always feel sleepy. Too much sleep can often be a symptom of depression or other health problem. If you sleep more than eight hours a day and you still feel tired, then it is time for you go to the doctor.

Lack of sleep

If you have trouble with falling asleep and when you wake up you feel more tired than when you have gone to bed, these are symptoms of anxiety and depression. Insufficient sleep may be associated with apnea and hormone imbalance. In such case, consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Heartbeat

If you suspect that you have a heart attack, call your doctor immediately. Although it might be a panic attack,still do not risk it,seek for a medical advice.

Pain in stomach

 

Pain in the abdomen can be a symptom of stress or anxiety. Do not ignore long-term stomach pain - studies show that people who suffer from chronic anxiety, also suffer from stomach pain. When the symptoms of anxiety are successfully healed, the pain in the stomach will disappear also.

Headache

Frequent stress and tension can cause headaches. If you suffer from headaches, while simultaneously experiencing stress and anxiety, seek help from professionals.

Shifts in mood

If you feel like you're on an emotional carousel, it would be wise to seek help from professionals. If you have not slept a few days in a row, and if after that you can't get out of bed, it is a serious mental problem that needs to be taken care of as soon as possible.
