It is a well known fact that the health of a child depends on his mother's diet during pregnancy and in the first years of his life.
Proper nutrition forms a strong immunity, optimal metabolic processes, proper physical and intellectual development and much more.

Improper diet can increase the risk of certain diseases. Scientific research, published in the journal Acta Paediatrica, points out that the use of fish in the diet in the first nine months of life greatly reduces the risk of developing allergies later in life. At the same time it was discovered that the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics significantly raises the risk of developing obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and various allergic reactions.

Scientists from Sweden randomly selected 8,176 families with new borns. They analyzed the foods that reduce the risk of allergic reactions and respiratory problems in children of preschool age. They concluded that fish is the most useful - it reduces the risk of such diseases by at least half.

Scientists have not emphasized what types of fish are most useful for preventing allergic and respiratory diseases in children. However, according to an official report in Swedish families the most used is white fish, salmon, herring and mackerel - they make up 97% of fish products in the diet of the analyzed families.

Parallel research has shown that the use of broad spectrum antibiotics it is impermissible in children under the age of four and a half years. The risk of developing breathing problems, allergies and various inflammatory processes, doubles when antibiotics are used, where the importance of proper nutrition in the first few months of the life becomes very important.
