In the summer we have a lot of foods that are rich in nutrients and have many health benefits and we should consume those foods daily. These are the foods we have in July, and if possible we should buy and consume the organic foods,even though they are more expensive , and we should include these foods in our daily menu :


One medium size peach besides the good taste will supply our body with fiber, vitamins C and A. Vitamin A helps our body to maintain the balance of the fluids in summer , and vitamin C does wonders for the skin , especially in the summer when our skin is often exposed to aggressive sun rays.


Just like its close and hairy relative the peach , the nectarine is full of fiber, vitamins A and C, and also contains very few calories .


As the temperatures rise, a juicy piece of watermelon which is filled with water, will ensure that you stay hydrated. Given the fact that 92% of the watermelon is water , it has very few calories , and will help you to refresh and recharge the body with fluids. It also contains vitamins A and C, and it has lycopene and beta carotene .


A bigger tomato contains a lot of vitamin C which is equal to 1/3 of the daily human needs of the vitamin, and together with vitamin c we get the same dose of vitamin A. This vegetable is rich in vitamins B6, E and K, and contains fiber. Tomatoes contain lycopene, and contain a powerful antioxidant that helps fight some cancers.
